Ingredients

Raw Shea Butter
Shea butter is fat that’s extracted from the nuts of the shea tree, native to West Africa. Shea butter has been used as a cosmetic ingredient for centuries. Its high concentration of vitamins and fatty acids combined with its consistency make it great for smoothing, soothing and conditioning skin. The benefits of shea butter come from its chemical makeup. Shea butter contains linoleic, palmitic, stearic, and oleic fatty acids, ingredients that balance oils on your skin; vitamins A, E, and F, antioxidant vitamins that promote circulation and healthy skin cell growth; triglycerides, the fatty part of the shea nut that nourishes and conditions your skin; cetyl esters, the waxy part of the shea nut butter that conditions skin and locks in moisture. It is also anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-bacterial and can help arthritis and muscle tightness.

Little Beehive Farms Beeswax
From Holliston MA and happy bees (well they don’t like me much, lol). Beeswax helps create a protective layer on the skin. It's also a humectant, meaning it attracts water. These attributes help the skin stay hydrated. Beeswax is also a natural exfoliator, ideal for sloughing away dead skin cells.

Fractionated Coconut Oil
Fractionated Coconut Oil is a light emollient that softens and hydrates dry skin while improving essential oil distribution. Fractionated Coconut Oil easily absorbs into the skin and blends with all essential oils. This carrier oil is ideal for troubled skin and provides a soothing topical barrier without clogging pores, leaving skin “silky smooth!”

Salicylic Acid (2%)
Salicylic acid is a Beta Hydroxy Acid belonging to a class of drugs known as salicylates. When applied to the skin, salicylic acid may work by helping the skin to shed dead cells from the top layer and by decreasing redness and swelling (inflammation). It is known to be safe as the FDA approves 1.8-3% by volume for most skin issues. Generally, OTC psoriasis creams contain up to 3% SA. Our formula includes 2%. As much as we’d like to keep this natural, salicylic acid is just too beneficial to deny so we feel it’s necessary for making the BEST product possible.

Turmeric/Curcumin/Bioperine (.1%)
Studies have shown that curcumin, the active property in the spice turmeric, can help heal wounds more quickly by decreasing inflammation and oxidation. It is also anti-microbial, cleansing, reduces scarring and helps build collagen, keeping skin healthy and youthful.

Vitamin E Oil
Vitamin E is an important fat-soluble antioxidant. It is an important ingredient in many cosmetic products. It protects the skin from various deleterious effects due to solar radiation by acting as a free-radical scavenger. Studies suggest that vitamin E has antitumorigenic and photoprotective properties.

Goat’s Milk
Goats Milk is an alpha-hydroxy acid known for its gentle hydration and exfoliation properties. Goat’s Milk is made up of Vitamins A, B6, B12 and E, Triglycerides, Capric, Caprylic, and Caproic acids which all aid in skin health and hydration. It contains Selenium which is a mineral with proven antioxidant properties that helps to neutralize free radicals which can cause premature aging of the skin.
